we will be highlighting here some of the horror stories about malta post, their post office in bugibba, western union, fexco the financial services company that handles financial transactions for malta post, the threats from their people. I certainly would never send money again by western union in malta.
a customer with a complaint put the details on the internet and received the following from their legal bods . he seems more interested in threats than sorting the problem (Dr. Aaron Zammit Apap B.A. LL.M. (Lond.) LL.D)
"However, we are convinced that your means are premature, defamatory and damaging to a reputable company and its employees. MaltaPost p.l.c. is therefore reserving its rights to hold you responsible for any damages incurred by the company and/or our employee/s further to your actions."
basically the customer sent money by western union in malta post bugibba and it was not received. the customer returned to check the details and get a refund but the horrible woman in malta post bugibba (her photo will be here soon) said go away or i call the police. western union said that the money was available for collecdtion and later that it had been refunded. but malta post(actually dvaid borg hedley of their agents fexco) say it was collected. strange eh ??? someone is a liar.
david borg hedley says "and could without prejudice prompt us and or Maltapost plc to take any action deemed necessary to safeguard the interest of both parties." so in malta it is not permissible to convey to someone your experience ?? or bad experiencie.. they are frightened of losing business. if they had 1 gram of commonsense they would resolve it and have a satisfied customer who says "hey they sorted it real quickly, great service" but no, nearly 1 month later the customer is still out of pocket by 118€
full story coming soon. in the meantime i would NEVER send money by western union in malta post because it has left me 118 euros out of pocket.
did you know, if you an the recepient have european bank accounts, just ask them to give you the IBAN number (they can ask their bank for this) and you can transfer money on the internet simply and cheaply. HSBC in malta charge 1€ for this. in malta post it cost me 18 € and all the problems
Western union can be very troublesome, if the person inputting the transacion types one charater wronglyin your name the recipient will not be able to collect the money.
as Dr. Aaron Zammit Apap talks of legal action against posts on the internet i would urge as many people as possible to create a blog or page copying this page and we will see maltas courts full of legal actions against people who dare publish something about malta post
